Internal Lifting Tool (ILT) shall be used for piling activities. For offshore installation of pile and conductor pipe, the ILT can use instead of slings. ILT active by a hydraulic - actuated with a tubing line following. Gripping and releasing are remotely controlled, ussually by the crane operator. In the main work, ILT stabs into pipe sections and pick-up and lay-down, moving them and holding them in a vertical position or uppending. Its gripping segments of pipe expand outward against the inside of the pipe. The stabing guide and horizontal pick-up arm make it so easy to stab the tool into the end of pipe sections. The pipe does not have to be specially stacked or elevated for pick-up (such as pad-eye...ect).
