Correct installation of bollards is crucial to their durability and performance. The following outlines the steps of installing a bollard.

• Anchor bolts are set in position using a template or setting frame to ensure proper alignment.
• It is then secured in position by tag welding to the reinforcement bars or secured by wire
• When the anchor bolts are secured in place, remove the template. Concrete cement is then poured into place
• When the concrete cement is cured, position the bollard onto the anchor bolts
• Secure the bollard to the concrete floor by tightening the washers and nuts to the anchor bolts
• When the bollard is fully secured, fill the counter bore holes and the internal bore of the bollard with concrete mix
• When the concrete mix is cured, a finishing coat of coal tar epoxy paint is then applied to the bollard
